management needs to remember where they came from
at my store everyone is just a number. the management dosent do there job as far as taking care of drama, and making the department managers work. also i think they should work with college students that are associates more, and not cut there hours even more just because they cant work certain times or days. also management needs to stick together and keep there word for example my sister died in october ast management gave me 2 weeeks off the front end and said if i had any problems to talk to them less than 2 weeks csm demanded me to go up front i told her i couldnt do it that day she said i dont care your still service desk pay so you need to get up there so i ended up cashing a post dated check and got va d-day because of it sincei alreasy had a written i tryed to talk to an assistant manager that day and she was 2 busy so i explained the situation the next day to her and she still wrote me up so since we dont have a store manager i tryed to fight it with the marketing team and the marketing manager said she couldnt help me out because it wouldnt be fair to the other people who got d-days and terminated so i would love to know how many of them were dealing with a death of a 20yr old sister that week and since the majority of the management in my store has kids mine and my sisters age i would like to know if there kid died if they would just be able to function right off the bat like i was expected 2 think about it. before all this hapened i loved my job since october when this all hapened i transfered to apparel lost all respect for walmart and hate my job.

I see what you mean the mangers in my store think they so much better that he rest of the store. I work on front end and I hate it and Im also in college. When I feeled out an avalibility sheet the store manager got mad because I coulded work pass s certain time didnt sign it so i had to give it to the manager over me and she put it in the computer without the store mgr knowing it. Wal-mart isnt what most people make it looks like there is no respect at all.
