I work in the bakery at my store and we communicate mostly through notes.... Well yester day I found a note that took untrue notes about me.

If a manager won't do it, I shouldn't have to do it! I had to stand outside in the rain today finding fixtures for electronics!

Not too much to complain about
This is a great company to work for. Most people are very loyal to the company here.
Overall this is a massive organization; if you are going to work here, know that it this is a BIG company. It behaves like a big company. As long as you are okay with that, you will enjoy working here.

For the most part yes it is a great company to work for. However it is not loyal to the associtates that make the company what it is at MAJOR corporate level. What they fail to see is that without us peons that move the freight help the customers, zone the departments, check them out at the front end, unload trucks, and everything in between there would be no corporate level because of the ppl at that level have no idea in the world how to set a modular. I mean come on. We get no gratitude for making Wal-Mart the multi billion or trillion dollar company that is. No hey thank you or here is free insurance because we can afford it....no pay raises, very shady with the discount card ( I have been here 4 yrs) and bounses. So don't tell me that it is a "wonderful" company to work for. It is a monopoly. Think really hard before you disagree....where does most of your check go? Back into wal-mart then on bills. So that my friend is a monopoly.

i totall agree! sure its a good place to wrkfor but th are Pro Customer! associates even off the clock are not customerswhen they shop, we are still associates! thats what my sm told a service desk associate after she was wrote up for getting a price change..... associates are not allowed to get price changes if the pice drops in aday or 2!
