There's something nice about not viewing your fellow attorneys as competition. Add that to the mix and it becomes much less pleasant.

No reason to move away from it. Ditching lockstep will encourage unnecessary competition.

Excellent colleagues and supportive partners. Top rate pay and good training. Everyone else who is not here is envious.

I work here, yea, it has a great reputation but so many of my colleagues who have left think it's over-rated. It's a passive aggressive place and is not the most friendly place for minorities at the higher levels. I'm sticking it out here for a bit longer b/c I would rather stick with the devil I know.
