I work at the Service Desk and i give markdowns to customers all day long for the worst reason's ever. This could boost moral and increase sales for the stores. I take 10% off for customers for shopping in my store or because they claim to spend sooo much money in the stores. Either Home Depot should offer the same deals to employees or we should stop giving customers discounts for shopping or saying they had to wait 10 min so we give them a markdown. This is yes a great way to boost customer service and build a relationship with the customer and create a customer for life but what about making an employee happy and boost moral throughout the company.
