You can't look at just dollar amounts with such a large company. That is how you lose sight and push a company into the ground. Thats why you look at it in percentages. Also cutting a corporate should be looked at in a good view, it shows that the stores are not the only ones dealing with cuts. They are keeping it spread across the company. The Sam's Clubs that were closed down, were they meeting profit? Also they use surrounding stores to absorb the work force that lost jobs.
