TrueInsider has launched! TrueInsider is a free site that gives rank and file employees everywhere the power to initiate positive change at work. Employees can anonymously discuss ways to improve their companies, either by writing a company review or posting in the virtual suggestion box. Your co-workers vote to determine the top suggestions, and the most popular suggestions can then be submitted to company management. Andrew Sandgren, Co-Founder & CEO
Before co-founding TrueInsider, Andrew was a senior corporate lawyer in the Moscow office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom where he advised investment banks and Russian companies in initial public offerings and private equity deals. Andrew was also General Counsel of a San Francisco-based CRO (clinical research organization) that manages clinical trials in Russia, Ukraine and the Baltics on behalf of Western pharmaceutical/biotech companies.
Andrew has a JD degree from NYU School of Law. He graduated summa cum laude from BYU and was valedictorian of the Political Science department.
Steve Vranes, Co-Founder
Steve comes from the retail industry, most recently as Director of Planning and Inventory Management at Gymboree Corporation. An entrepreneur at heart, Steve does not consider TrueInsider to be his first startup. While at Gymboree, Steve launched Crazy8, an upstart children’s clothing brand. He was the lead in creating revenue, inventory, and sales-marketing strategies that drove Crazy8’s success. He was also involved in the early stage growth of the Gymboree Outlet and Janie and Jack brands.
Steve graduated summa cum laude from San Francisco State University with a BA in Economics.
Vlod Kalicun, CTO
Vlod is a seasoned technologist and fully buzzword compliant. His background includes senior technology roles in New York, Chicago and London at prominent investment banks such as Goldman Sachs and UBS.
Since moving to the Bay Area, he's engulfed himself in startups, entrepreneurism and everything tech. He's been involved in several startups including PowerReviews/Buzzillions (product reviews) and MyWaves (mobile video).
Vlod graduated with honors from Kingston University, London with a BSc in Computer Science.
